Our Team

Wendy Wallace – Managing Director

Wendy undertook various roles in the social care sector before launching Essential Health in 2014. With over 17 years’ dedicated sector-based experience,

Wendy has previously held high profile roles to help improve residential and nursing homes that had been put in special measures by the Care Quality Commission, which saw her overhaul homes’ entire processes and operations to ensure they become compliant. This unique understanding of how proper care should be provided, combines with a thorough knowledge of industry best practice, and a passion for empowering those in her care, Wendy ensures Essential Health delivers on its promises each and every time.

Kelly Hampton 

Registered Manager – Level 5 Management and Leadership Qualification.  Kelly studied Health and Social Care at college before completing the Access to higher education course to secure a place at university for a Nursing Degree.  Kelly achieved Level 5 Management and Leadership in 2017 and naturally progressed to the Registered Manager position following the ‘Fit Person’ assessment with the Care Quality Commission in November 2018.

Joanne Marsh

Care Coordinator – Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification. Joanne worked as a Senior healthcare assistant in a Nursing home for 8 years before joining Essential Health in 2017. Joanne has a big heart, a lot of passion and is always willing to go that extra mile.

Karla Foster

Care Coordinator –  Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification,  Karla has worked in the Care sector for many years working as a Care Assistant, field supervisor, Care Coordinator and then moving onto support Covid-19 as a lead support supervisor for a registered charity residential home.

Jean Simpson

Office Administrator – Level 2 Health and Social Care. Jean joined Essential Health in 2017 as a Domiciliary Care Assistant. Gaining experience in Domiciliary care after completing a Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social Care.  Jean has received exceptional compliments over the years whilst working with Essential Health and can be recognised by her infectious laugh and caring nature.  Everyone Loves Jean!

Linda Smith

Office Administrator – Linda has worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years before embarking on a career change in 2018 to work in the care sector.  Linda has worked hard in the community since joining Essential health and has expressed her wishes to remain with Essential health until she retires.  Linda will always be the first to offer a hand and has received some amazing feedback from those we care.  We wish Linda a happy start to her new role.

Chanel Wallace

Account / Payroll Administrator – Level 3 Health and Social Care. Chanel joined Essential Health in 2015 as a Domiciliary Care Assistant. Gaining experience in Domiciliary care after completing a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care at six form college. Throughout the years Chanel has built up a fantastic bond with clients and receives beautiful feedback. When a part-time position became available to work in Payroll and accounts, Chanel was up for the challenge. Now studying for a qualification in accountancy, Chanel continues to care and support her clients in the community.

Louise Matthews

Registered Care Manager – Cannock Branch.  Level 3 in Health and Social Care and Management; currently working towards Level 5 Management and Leadership Qualification.  Louise has over 10 years experience working in the care sector, from care assistant to Deputy care Manager.  Louise is looking forward to managing a new home care service.  Louise has lived in Cannock most of her life and knows the area very well.  Louise loves the little office in Cannock and says it’s very personal and inviting.  Louise has a great team to support her all the way.  Since joining Essential Health and taking the Registered Manager role Louise has achieved the TOP 20 homecare.co.uk awards.
